Kolacky Days Pageant to have 10 candidates
This year, ten junior women will vie for a crown at the 82nd annual Kolacky Days Queen Pageant on Friday, July 22.
The candidates, in order of their pageant appearance, are Kaylee Reeder, daughter of Jim and Mindy Reeder; Grace Krautkremer, daughter of Nick and Dawn Krautkremer; Haley Dietz, daughter of Michael and Christina Dietz; Samantha Lingsweiler, daughter of Gary Lingsweiler and Jennifer Svien; Amanda Richardson, daughter of John Richardson and Jennifer Vyskocil; Emily Barnett, daughter of Kevin and Keri Barnett, and Abby Barnett and Chris DeGrood; Jordyn Viskocil, daughter of Robin Viskocil and Terry Viskocil; Brianna Rutt, daughter of Bill and Sue Rutt; Lexy Malecha, daughter of Joe and Cheryl Kollasch; and Lauren Miller, daughter of James and Laurie Miller.
The girls and their parents/guardians attended an informational meeting on Sunday, May 15, at St. John Lutheran Church where they signed their intent to be a candidate, heard rules and regulations for being a candidate and royalty, received the required 50 Kolacky Buttons to sell, and received the schedule of candidate events.
