Koonst - Proshek

Katelyn Proshek, daughter of Todd and MaryKay Proshek of New Prague, and Tyler Koonst, son of Jim and Mary Ann Koonst of Belle Plaine, were married Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in New Prague. Presiding officials were Father Kevin Clinton and Pastor Leon Stier.

The bride was escorted by her father. Katie Tikalsky was Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Koonst, Annalee Koonst, Tina Proshek, Susan Bartelt and Camille Kratochvil.

The bride's personal attendants were Heather Froehling and Savanna Evans.

The groom was escorted by his parents. Ben Stier was the best man. Groomsmen were Matt Stier, Andrew Schumacher, Paul Proshek, Adam Schumacher and Jeff Eppen.

Ushers were Tom Huber and Patrick Huber.

Readers were Nathan Proshek, Aaron Schroers and Lois Huber.

Musicians were Amy Eppen and Tim Havlicek.

Grandparents present were Bill and Mary Proshek, Ivona (Toy) Huber, Carl and Marlene Koonst, and Loren and Shirley Stier.

The reception, dinner and dance were held at the New Prague Park Ballroom.

Tyler and Katelyn reside in Belle Plaine. Katelyn is employed with CH Robinson. Tyler is employed with the United States Air Force.
