Lady Bucs earn No. 1 seed

The WEM volleyball team, fresh off their Monday night regular season ending sweep of Waseca, earned the No. 1 seed in the South Sub-Section, Section 2AA Playoffs. WEM, 27-4 overall, will start their defense of the Sub-Section title with a match Thursday, Oct. 27 at 7 p.m. in Waterville against the winner of the Monday match between Madelia (5-21) and Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton (4-16).
