Late rally gives adapted softball team 3rd win

New Prague High School's adapted softball team split a pair of games last week, losing to South Washington County 14-11 and using a five-run sixth inning to beat Burnsville/Farmington/Lakeville 9-6.

The Trojans are 3-8 on the season and in sixth place in the Southern Division. They were scheduled to play at Prior Lake Tuesday and have two games left on the schedule. They travel to Minneapolis for a game at Roosevelt High School on Thursday, May 15, and on Tuesday, May 20, they host South Suburban. The team will play in a state tournament qualifying game with the winner to advance to the State Tournament at Coon Rapids High School May 30-31. The qualifying game has not been scheduled, but will be played May 22 or 23 according to the Minnesota Adapted Athletics website.
