Le Center crowns Irish royalty
In his opening remarks at the Le Center St. Patrick’s Day Celebration Coronation, Mayor Josh Fredrickson summed up the week when he said, “This week every single year, everyone is Irish.” The community continued its Irish celebration Friday, March 9, with the coronation of its royalty. Pictured are (from left) Miss Irish Rose Mackenzie O’Connell, Miss Shamrock Grace Smith and Miss Leprechaun Lauren Gaudreau. Missing from the photo is Olivia McCabe who received the John Gregory O’Connell scholarship. She was absent because she was playing at the Section 2AA Girl’s Basketball Championships in Mankato with her St. Peter team.
