Le Sueur Co. board deals with park issues

The Le Sueur County Board discussed parks under its jurisdiction and approved several personnel recommendations as part of its meeting agenda for Tuesday, Jan. 27. A preliminary ordinance governing parks was also presented to the commissioners for review, with a public hearing to be scheduled for final adoption.

Parks Director Don Reak received approval to apply for a $1.9 million grant for improvements to Lake Washington County Park. He also got the OK to purchase a Polaris Ranger vehicle for Richter Woods Park for $8,500.
