Le Sueur County Board adopts preliminary budget and levy

The Le Sueur County Board of Commissioners adopted the preliminary 2009 budget and tax levy and approved a resolution to sell capital improvement plan bonds at an excellent rate during its regular meeting Tuesday, Sept. 9 at the courthouse in Le Center.

Tax levy at 6.194%

County Auditor Ron Germscheid and Budget Officer Carol Blaschko presented the figures and information on the budget and proposed levy for 2009.
