Bachman scattered seven hits and allowed only an unearned run in seven innings to take a 4-1 win for the Trojans.

He also helped out at the plate, driving in a pair of runs with a double in the second inning. Cody Sampson's two-run single in the first had given Post 45 a 2-0 lead.

New Prague had just four hits in the game, two by Brezina and one each by Bachman and Dyvig, but Bachman made those runs hold up. He had baserunners in every inning, but timely strikeouts and a key double play helped him out of the jams. He struck out five.
