Legion team goes to 9-0

New Prague’s American Legion baseball team upped its record to 9-0 on the season with wins over Faribault and St. Peter.

New Prague scored twice in the first and twice in the third on their way to a 5-2 win over Faribault at New Prague Thursday, June 30.

In the first, with two outs, Josh Simon walked and stole second, and Matt Ambroz homered to left, giving New Prague a 2-0 lead.

Tyler Seurer drew a leadoff walk and stole second. He advanced on a balk and scored on a base hit by Simon.
