Leonard C. Ziskovsky, 72, of New Prague, died Saturday, July 16, 2011, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.

Leonard was born at Veseli on November 4, 1938, a son of Edward J. and Ludmilla (Pavek) Ziskovsky. Born and raised in the Veseli/New Prague area, he attended Veseli School and New Prague High School. Leonard served in the U.S. Air Force from 1957-1961. He was a mechanic for Boeing in Seattle, WA, after his discharge, and then worked for Hitchcock Industries in Bloomington. He married Carol Volk on November 28, 1964, in Harvey, ND.
