Local veterans receive Bronze Stars

Dennis Scheel and Joseph Havlicek, both of New Prague, recently received one of the highest honors a military service member can recieve. At separate ceremonies, the two World War II veterans were each awarded the Bronze Star.

For Scheel the event came during a celebration of his 82nd birthday on September 5.

The kids had a birthday party for me at Fishtale (Grill)
