Lois Landela 77

Lois Landela 77, of Prior Lake, died peacefully on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012, at Our Lady of Peace Home in St. Paul.

Lois was born May 3, 1934, a daughter of Erwin and Ludina (Tesch) Kerkow. She grew up on a farm near Belle Plaine, attended Trinity Lutheran School and graduated from Belle Plaine High School in 1951. She married and moved to Alaska in 1960. Lois started compiling her journals shortly after moving back to Belle Plaine in 1966. Her first book was published in 1979, Clothed With the Sun
