Lois Wann, 90

    Lois Suel Wann, 90, of New Prague, died Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, at Mala Strana Health Care Center in New Prague.
    Lois Marie was born on March 12, 1922, in New Prague, a daughter of Arthur J. Suel and Eleanor R. (Remes) Suel. She was reared in New Prague, and attended St. Wenceslaus Catholic School, New Prague High School and the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul. She and Eugene C. Wann Jr. were married at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in New Prague, on April 21, 1945.
    Lois was an owner of Suel Printing Company, served as editor of The New Prague Times for many years, and was well-known for her So Lo Notes column that she wrote. She was a member of the Minnesota Newspaper Association Half Century Club, St. Wenceslaus CCW, and served on the Queen of Peace Hospital Board,  the Editorial Board of The Catholic Bulletin, St. Wenceslaus Elevator Committee, various bridge clubs,  and was a former Dozinky Parade Grand Marshal.
    She is survived by sons E. Charles (Janis) Wann III and Arthur S. (Ann) Wann, both of New Prague; four grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and four stepgreat-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband on May 23, 2009.
    Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov. 24, at 11 a.m., at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in New Prague, with Rev. Kevin Clinton officiating.
    Interment will be at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Cemetery in New Prague. Pallbearers are David Wann, Kurt Wann, Eric Wann, Steve Meloche, John Ingebrand and Jesse Bethke.
    Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, and 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Bruzek Funeral Home in New Prague.
