'Long awaited day' at Cedar Lake Farm

What was described as a long awaited day in Scott County came on Saturday, June 13, as dignitaries and families gathered for the re-opening of Cedar Lake Farm, northeast of New Prague.

Helen (Rech) Jasan, who lived on the land from 1919 to 1948 when it was the Rech family farm, was given the honor of cutting the ribbon that officially opened the facility.
