Lonsdale man dies in crash near New Prague

An 80-year-old Lonsdale man died Friday, April 2, from injuries suffered in a two-car crash northeast of New Prague. Emil Sticha was driving a 2006 Dodge pickup northbound on Redwing Avenue (Scott County Road 89) at approximately 2 p.m. when he collided with a 1999 Ford Mustang driven by Rafael Urzua, 30, of New Prague. The crash occurred at the intersection of Redwing and 260th Street (Scott County Road 2).
