Loretta Kulik, 85

Loretta A. Kulik, 85, of Prairie Farm, WI, formerly of New Prague, died Monday, Dec. 7, 2009, at the Pioneer Nursing Home in Prairie Farm.

Loretta was born on December 9, 1923, at Munich, ND, a daughter of Frank and Eva Katherine (Schommer) Siegmund. She attended elementary school in Munich, ND, Helena County District School and New Prague High School, graduating in 1943. Loretta was the first drum majorette for the New Prague High School Band. She married William A. Kulik on September 10, 1946, at the Community Baptist Church in New Prague. She was a farmer and housewife, and was a member of the New Prague Community Baptist Church.

She is survived by daughter Patricia Kulik (and special friend Daniel Gerblick), Ridgeland, WI; three grandchildren William Wormer, Ridgeland, WI, Katherine (Josh) Wormer, Solon Springs, WI and Matthew Wormer, Hyde Park, NY; brother-in-law Ralph Guilieri, Boise, ID; and special niece Alberta (Charles) Erickson, New Prague.

She was preceded in death by her husband on September 26, 2009; her parents; and two sisters Dorothy Guilieri and Genevieve Lambrecht Shetka.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 12, at 11 a.m., at the Bruzek Funeral Home in New Prague, with Rev. Steve O'Dell officiating.

Interment will be at the Czech National Cemetery in New Prague. Pallbearers will be Robert Dols, Chuck Erickson, Albert Lambrecht Jr., Allan Lambrecht, Lowell Stunick and Leonard Stunick.

Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Bruzek Funeral Home.
