Mark L James, 53

Mark L. James, age 53 of Shakopee, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2017 at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee. Mark was born on November 17, 1963 in Minneapolis, MN the son of Bill and Marilyn (Hoffman) James. He worked in construction and loved to build. Mark also enjoyed horses, fishing and gardening. He was a hard worker. Mark is survived by his children, Kara (Ryan) Hackett, Sabrina, Kolton, Justin; grandchildren, Thomas and Evalyn Hackett; mother, Marilyn; sister, Terri. He is preceded in death by his father, Bill. Visitation Friday, September 1, 2017 from 1-2 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 2 p.m. at McNearney-Schmidt Funeral and Cremation, 1220 3rd Ave. E., Shakopee, 952-445-2755. Officiating is the Reverend Alan Naumann.
