McBroom tosses five TDs

WEM sophomore quarterback Grant McBroom tossed five touchdowns and completed 9-of-16 passes for 231 yards in leading the WEM football team to a 48-27 win over Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop Friday in Winthrop. Tyson Miska caught two touchdown passes. Tanner Ranslow, Adam Rients, and Wyatt Storch each caught one. WEM, 2-0 in the Blue Sub-District League Standings and 2-1 overall, host Norwood-Young America Friday. The Raiders are also 2-1 overall after losing their last game, 14-12 in double overtime to NRHEG. For more on the GFW win, check out the Sept. 21 edition of the LIFE/Enterprise.
