Alzheimer's Support group meets Nov. 16

The Lutheran Home-Belle Plaine and its Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association provides resources and a support group for community members whose lives are touched by Alzheimer's Disease and other memory loss disorders. The monthly support groups are free and open to the public.

The monthly support group will meeting from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16, in the conference room at The Lutheran Home-Belle Plaine. Caring and Sharing will be the topic.

Open house to cover corridor planning

There will be an open house on Natural Areas Corridor Planning from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16, at the Scott County Conservation Building, located at the Scott County Fairgrounds in Jordan.

The meeting is open to the public and is targeted toward landowners in the western part of the county who have already had an open house as part of the detailed planning effort for those parts of the county guided for residential development.

A final report on the planning process is available on the County website at www.co.scott.mn.us/conservationeasement.

Lonsdale Golden Agers meet Nov. 17

The Lonsdale Golden Agers will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, at the Crusader Civic Center in Lonsdale.

Cards will be played and there will be a pot luck lunch.

Serving committee includes Evelyn Novak, Francis Novak and Marion Jirik.

Seniors age 55 and older are welcome to attend.

Wheatland Twin Lakes meeting is Nov. 17

Wheatland Twin Lakes Sportsman will hold its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, at the American Legion Club in Montgomery. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Legion Auxiliary meets Nov. 17

New Prague's American Legion Auxiliary Unit 45 will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, at the Park Ballroom, New Prague.
