Holiday Expo and craft show Nov. 7
Holiday Expo and craft show will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 7, at the American Legion Club in Le Center.
Over 30 vendors with various items. Kettle corn will also be available.
Look Good Feel Better meeting
Nov. 9
Cancer can rob a woman of her energy, appetite and strength. It doesn't have to take away her self-confidence. Look Good Feel Better is a free program that teaches beauty techniques to female cancer patients in active treatment. Participants receive instructions and advice on dealing with the temporary appearance changes of cancer treatment and $250 worth of free cosmetics.
This meeting will be held from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 9, in the Solarium at Queen of Peace Hospital. To register or receive more information, contact the Queen of Peace Education Department, 952-758-8187.
Silver 101 The History and Care
of Silver is Nov. 9
Sharon Jensen and the Rice County Historical Society's Alexander Faribault House Committee Members will present a program on the history and care of silver at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9, at the Alexander Faribault House 12 NE First Ave. Faribault. There is a fee and seating is limited, reservations are encouraged. A question and answer period with light refreshments served.

Memorial Blood draw at Queen of Peace Nov. 10
Queen of Peace will host a Memorial Blood Centers community blood drive from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10. The draw is sponsored by the Hospital Auxiliary.

Czech Heritage Club meeting Nov. 10
The Czech Heritage Club will hold their monthly meeting at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 10, in the upstairs meeting room of the New Prague City Hall. Speaker will be Stan Chromy.
St. Patrick Men's Club Euchre Tournament Nov. 12
St. Patrick Men's Club is sponsoring a Euchre Tournament at 7:30 p.m., with registration beginning at 6:30 p.m., on Friday, Nov. 12, at the Social Hall in St. Patrick.
Entry fee for team; food and beverages available.
Prairie Quilters to meet Nov. 11
The Prairie Quilters of the New Prague area will hold their next meeting from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 11, at the State Bank.
It will be Meaningful Item night, so please bring an item with and be ready to explain why it is meaningful to you.
The group will be working on donation quilts the entire day 9 a.m. to meeting time.

Holiday Open House Nov. 13 & 14
The Church of St. Patrick, Shieldsville is hosting a Holiday Open House from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, and 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 14.
Home based businesses and crafters will offer items for sale. Chicken wild rice soup and other food will be available for purchase.

There will be a Worldwide Marriage Encounter Weekend Nov. 19-21 at the Franciscan Retreat House in Prior Lake.
Worldwide Marriage Encounter is designed to give married couples the opportunity to examine their lives together, a time to share their feelings, their hopes, disappointments, joys and frustrations and to do so openly and honestly in a face to face, heart to heart encounter.
