AA groups meet regularly in New Prague New Prague Alcoholics Anonymous holds five meetings each week in New Prague.

The organization meets at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church at 8 p.m. Mondays, 8 p.m. Thursdays and 9 a.m. Fridays. Meetings are held at New Prague Alliance Church at 7:30 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday.

Alanon, for friends and families of alcoholics, also meets at 8 p.m. Mondays at Holy Trinity.

Narcotics Anonymous meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday at FaithPoint Lutheran Church (the former State Bank of New Prague building). Call 952-457-2389 for more information.

Czech Heritage Club meets March 13 The public is welcome to attend the monthly meeting of the New Prague Czech Heritage Club 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, in the upstairs meeting room of the New Prague City Hall. The program for the evening will be Marian Topic sharing Bohemian Easter traditions and word translations from English to Bohemian of the Easter Season.

Growing Through Grief group meets March 14 Designed to meet the needs of those experiencing grief due to the death of a loved one or those companioning someone experiencing loss, the Growing through Grief support group can help through education and peer support. Whether your loss has happened recently or several years ago, this support group can help you through a lonely and frightening time.

The meeting will be held from 7 - 8:30 p.m. Thursday, March 14, in the Solarium at Mayo Clinic Health System in New Prague. Registration appreciated. To register or receive more information, contact the spiritual care department at 952-758-8176.

New Prague Prairie Quilters meet March 14 The Prairie Quilters of the New Prague area will hold their next meeting from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, March 14, on the second floor of City Hall. Park in the south parking lot. Kathy Rieck will give a program on Building Blocks to make building blocks. There will also be a show and tell and a short meeting.

Members, remember the Quilting Retreat Day at HTLC on Saturday, March 16. The Prairie Quilters will be at Paul's Place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Bring a lunch and all your equipment and work on whatever you would like.
