Country Style Breakfast Apr. 17

St. Scholastica Catholic Church will be sponsoring a country style breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to noon Sunday, April 17, at the St. Scholastica Church basement in Heidelberg. Tickets are available at door.


American Legion Auxiliary Unit #45 to meet Apr. 19

The New Prague American Legion Auxiliary Unit 45 will meet in the American Legion Park Ballroom at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 19. The following members should each bring one pan of bars: Diane Lambrecht, Lynn Landmark, Luella Lapic and Catherine Menke.


American Legion Post 45 to meet Tuesday, April 19

Charles Borak Post 45 of the American Legion, New Prague, will hold a regular monthly meeting at the Park Ballroom clubroom at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 19. Lunch and refreshments will be served after the meeting.


Lonsdale Golden Agers to meet April 19,

Lonsdale Golden Agers will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, in the Crusader Civic Center. Cards will be played. Fish dinners will be served by committee Dorothy and Ambrose Duffney and Lillian Uhlir. All seniors 55 and older are welcome. Call Marion at 507-744-2187 or just come to the meeting.


Wheatland Twin Lakes Sportsman Club to meet Apr. 19

The Wheatland Twin Lakes Sportsman Club will hold its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, at the American Legion Club in Montgomery. Public is welcome to attend.


Separated/Divorce group meets Apr. 19

The support group meets the first and third Tuesday of the month. The next session is from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, at St. Wenceslaus Church, lower level, 215 E Main St., New Prague.

Alzheimer's support group meets Apr. 19

The Lutheran Home: Belle Plaine and its Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association provide resources and a support group for community members whose lives are touched by Alzheimer's disease and other memory loss disorders. The monthly support group is free and open to the public.

The monthly support group will meet from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, at Kingsway Retirement Living in the Ratzkeller. Kingsway is the newest community for seniors on The Lutheran Home Campus. Caring and Sharing will be the topic.

Prostate Cancer Support Group to meet Apr. 20

The Prostate Cancer Support Group held in the Solarium at Queen of Peace Hospital on Wednesday, April 20, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. welcomes input from individuals who have or have had prostate cancer. This group provides a confidential setting where individuals and family members can talk freely about issues affecting their daily lives. The groups purpose is to provide positive common experiences and serve as an educational forum for learning more about the disease, its treatment and other issues related to prostate cancer.

KC's Fish Fry is Apr. 22

The New Prague Knights of Columbus are having a fish fry on Good Friday, April 22 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the New Prague KC Hall. It is an all you can eat event. Tickets are available at the door as well as take outs.


Scott County HHW Facility closed Apr. 23

The Scott County HHW Facility will be closed on Saturday, April 23, in observance of the Easter Holiday weekend.
