Senior Citizens to meet April 7 The New Prague Senior Citizens will meet at 12:45 p.m. Friday, April 7, at the New Prague City Hall second floor meeting room, 118 Central Ave. N. The bus picks up senior citizens for local shopping every Wednesday. For reservations call 952-496-8341. All seniors are welcome to join the club for meetings and cards the first Friday of each month at 12:45 p.m.

ENM Egg Hunt to be held April 8 The Elko New Market Community and Civic Events Committee will hold its annual Egg Hunt at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 8, at Eagle View Elementary School, 25600 Nevada Ave. in Elko New Market. The Egg Hunt will be held on the school’s playground and fields. This is a fun event for toddlers through fifth graders. Registration forms are available at www.ci.enm.mn.us or can be done on the day of the event.

Rice Co. 4-H Easter Egg Hunt will be held April 8 Rice County community youth, ages 2 to fifth grade, are welcome to participate in the annual Rice County 4-H Easter Egg Hunt to be held Saturday, April 8. It will be held at the Rice County 4-H Building, 1900 Fairgrounds Dr. #17, in Faribault. There will be an outdoor egg hunt along with hands-on activities for the youth inside the 4-H Building. Families may arrive starting at 10:30 a.m. The egg hunt will be divided into three categories, which means three starting times and different colors of eggs for the groups: • Ages 2-5 will begin their egg hunt at 10:45 a.m. • Grades K-2 will begin their hunt at 11 a.m. • Grades 3-5 will begin their hunt at 11:15 a.m. The egg hunt will be outside, weather permitting. Should a change be needed, watch for signs on the grounds directing people where to go.

‘Our Czech Heritage Club’ meets on April 12 “Our Czech Heritage Club” will be holding its April meeting at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 12, at the New Prague Memorial Library, 400 Main St E. After a short business meeting the program for the evening will be on Easter customs and traditions. Come by to learn some Czech phrases and the origin of various Czech traditions. Enjoy some Easter themed refreshments and pick up a copy of the club’s latest newsletter along with a flyer for their upcoming Czech movie, All My Loved Ones, to be shown at the New Prague Middle School at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 30.

Prairie Quilters meeting to be held on April 13 The Prairie Quilters of the New Prague Area will hold their next meeting from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, April 13, at City Hall, 118 Central Ave. N. Kathy Reick will present a program on whole cloth quilts and trapunto quilting. They will have a short meeting and show and tell. If you attended the paper piecing workshop, please bring your project to share (even if it’s not complete). The club loves new members. For more information, call Reidun at 952-758- 3596. Mala Strana to hold Easter Egg Hunt April 14 Mala Strana Rehabilitation Center, 999 Columbus Ave. N, in New Prague will hold an Easter Egg Hunt for children from 2-3 p.m. on Friday, April 14.
