Suicide Grief Support Group meeting is May 28 Family, friends, and anyone who has lost a loved one to suicide, is invited to join the monthly meeting of the Suicide Grief Support Group, from 7 - 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, at the Mayo Clinic Health System (Hospital), in the Jameen Mape Conference Room in New Prague. Enter through the Emergency Room doors (southwest entrance) and take the southeast elevator marked "2" to the lower level and follow the signs to the Jameen Mape room. NP Senior Citizens will meet June 7 The New Prague Senior Citizens will meet at 12:45 p.m. Friday, June 7, at the New Prague City Hall second floor club room. Marcie Stepka and Frances Yackley will be in charge of the lunch.
Members on the cookie committee for Mala Strana on Tuesday, June 11, are Dorothy Jirik Moore, Lillian Doherty, Irene Unger and Marcie Stepka. Members working at the popcorn wagon May 31 are Lucene Wendorf, Muretta Prokes, Elaine Pavek and Marcie Stepka.
The bus picks up senior citizens for local shopping every Wednesday and goes to Burnsville the third Thursday of the month. For reservations call 952-496-8341.
All seniors are welcome to join the club for meetings and cards on the first Friday of each month at 12:45 p.m.
