NPHS Class of 1950 to meet on July 15 The New Prague High School Class of 1950 will hold its 67th reunion at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 15, at the Fishtale Bar & Grill, 200 Co Rd 37, New Prague. Dinner is planned for 4 p.m. For more information call Alice at 507-364-7789.
Czech Heritage Club picnic is July 19 The Czech Heritage Club of Minnesota Czech Country, including New Prague, Lonsdale, Veseli and Montgomery, will hold their pot luck picnic on Wednesday, July 19. The picnic will be from 6-8 p.m. at the East Pavilion in Memorial Park, off of Lexington Avenue S. Sloppy Joes will be provided, along with lemonade, water and plates, cups, napkins and silverware. Ney Nature Center offers Learning Series From 12-2 p.m. on Thursday, July 20, the Ney Nature Center near Henderson is offering the Ney Senior Learning Series: Monarch Migration. Area residents can learn about a new topic each month as the Ney Nature Center explores local wildlife, history and conservation issues. Lunch is included. The series is conducted on the third Thursday of each month. This activity is for ages 50 and older and there is a cost for it. Reservations are required online by today (Thursday) at neycenter.org.

Scott Co. offers Mobile Clinic Scott County Public Health holds the Scott County Mobile Clinic two times per month from 2-5 p.m. at various locations in Scott County through a partnership with the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community. The clinic serves uninsured and underinsured children and adults from Scott County. Free services available include adult and child medical visits, health screenings, cholesterol level screens, blood pressure checks, blood glucose screens, hemoglobin level screens, assistance with obtaining affordable prescription medication, ongoing health care and other community resources.
