Lonsdale Golden Agers meet July 9 The Lonsdale Golden Agers meeting is 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, in the Lonsdale Civic Center. There will be a picnic lunch. Everyone should bring a dish to pass. Growing Through Grief group meeting July 11 Designed to meet the needs of those experiencing grief due to the death of a loved one or those companioning someone experiencing loss, the Growing through Grief support group can help through education and peer support. Whether your loss has happened recently or several years ago, this support group can help you through a lonely and frightening time. The meeting will be held from 7 - 8:30 p.m. Thursday, July 11, in the Solarium at Mayo Clinic Health System in New Prague. Registration appreciated. Prairie Quilters to meet July 11 The Prairie Quilters of the New Prague area will hold its all day quilt tying day from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. Thursday, July 11, at the State Bank of New Prague. Come and work as long as you can, bring a lunch and the regular meeting starts at 7 p.m. Bring a needle for tying and your favorite scissors. Czech Heritage Club picnic July 10 The public is welcome to attend the Czech Heritage Club picnic 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, in the New Prague Memorial Park located at the shelter next to the Park Ballroom. Lemonade, plates, napkins and silverware will be provided. Please bring a potluck item to share and a beverage.

Legion and Auxiliary to hold picnic July 7 New Prague American Legion Post 45 and its Auxiliary will hold their annual family picnic at 12 noon Sunday, July 7, at the Park Ballroom's club room in New Prague.
