Car seat checkup clinic is Aug. 21

There will be a free car seat safety checkup from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 21, at New Prague Auto Group, 1185 280th Street West, New Prague. Parents, grandparents and others who transport children on a regular basis are invited to stop in. No appointments are necessary. Call Diane at 952-758-2530 for more information.

Certified technicians from New Prague EMS and New Prague Auto Group will meet one-on-one with drivers who transport children on a regular basis.

Bereavement group meeting Aug. 23

The Area Bereavement Support group for those grieving the death of a loved one will be meeting at 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 23 in the parish rectory at the Church of St. Scholastica, Heidelberg.

This is an open group and people from all faith traditions are welcome.

Lonsdale Golden Agers will meet Aug. 24

The Lonsdale Golden Agers will meet at noon on Tuesday, Aug. 24, at The Villages of Lonsdale for lunch, short meeting and cards. All seniors 55 and older are welcome.

Suicide Grief Support Meeting is Aug. 24

The Suicide Grief Support group will meet from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 24 in the Jameen Mape Conference Room (lower level) of Queen of Peace Hospital. Please enter through the Emergency Room doors, take the southeast elevator marked 2 and follow signs to the Conference Room.

Le Sueur County American Legion/ Auxiliary meet Aug. 25

The Le Sueur County Council of the American Legion and Auxiliary will hold a quarterly meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 25 at the Kilkenny Community Hall. Dues for the coming year will be due from both the posts and auxiliary units.

Legion and Auxiliary members of posts in Le Sueur County are welcome. Lunch and refreshments served.
