In memory....

Commander Les Fierst, left, of the US Naval Reserve, George Tupy, Past Commander of New Prague American Legion Post 45, and Nick Slavik, commander of the New Prague Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5145, along with the New Prague Veterans Honor Guard, take part in Memorial Day services Monday, May 27, at St. Patrick's Cemetery northeast of New Prague. St. Patrick was the first of six area cemeteries visited by the group. At each cemetery a list of veterans buried at the cemetery was read, a salute was fired and Taps was played. The morning events concluded with the Memorial Day Parade on Main Street and a ceremony at Memorial Park in New Prague.
