Metzdorff is All American at Hamline

Jeff Metzdorff competed in the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships November 19 in Delaware, OH.

Metzdorff, a senior at Hamline University in St. Paul, earned All-American status after finishing 23rd overall with a time of 26 minutes, 14 seconds in the eight-kilometer course. The top 35 runners in the nation earned the recognition. It is the second time in Metzdorff’s career that he has been named an All-American. He also earned the honor in the 10,000 meters at the 2005 NCAA Division Track and Field Championships this past spring. The Hamline University team finished seventh at the Championships. Jeff is the son of John and Simone Metzdorff of New Prague and Sandy Metzdorff of Wadena.
