Air Force Airman Nathaniel G. Tieden graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, TX. Tieden is the son of Tammy Garza of Montgomery, and grandson of Ray Tieden of Mounds View. He is a 2010 graduate of New Prague High School.

Air Force Reserve Airman 1st Class Michael R. Verhoeven graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, TX. Verhoeven earned distinction as an honor graduate. He is the son of Timothy and LuVerne Verhoeven of New Prague and a 2010 graduate of New Prague High School.

Airman Eric Grabosky has been deployed to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. Grabosky's deployment will last four to five months, and he will be stationed at Beale AFB, near Sacramento, CA, on his return. Grabosky is a 2008 graduate of New Prague High School and the son of Bill and Sheila Grabosky of New Prague.
