New York Air National Guardsman Mark Busch recently returned to the United States after being activated and deployed overseas in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Busch graduated from New Prague High School in 2000.

He served five years in the U.S. Air Force, was honorably discharged and joined the New York Air National Guard.

Mark lives in Wading River, NY, where he works full-time for the Air National Guard. He is the son of Melvin and Marilynne Busch of rural Jordan.
