Miss Czech Slovak MN candidates wanted
The Miss Czech Slovak Minnesota Pageant committee is looking for young women of Czech, Slovak or Moravian heritage to compete for the state title. The 22nd annual pageant will be held on Saturday, April 9, at the Montgomery American Legion Club.
The competition is for women between 16 and 26 years of age. The winners receive cash awards, crowns and will have a year of memorable appearances throughout Minnesota. This unique pageant focuses on the heritage of the Czech, Slovak and Moravian candidates. The Miss Czech Slovak MN for 2011-12 will travel to the National Miss Czech Slovak US Pageant in Wilber, NE.
An informal pageant meeting will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 20, at Montgomery Oil Co./David's Diner, 200 4th St. NW, Montgomery. Refreshments will be served.
