Montgomery cleans up after another storm
Tuesday evening's severe thunderstorm brought strong winds and heavy rains, leaving Montgomery residents to deal with power outages and downed trees, limbs and branches. The storm rumbled through the area just after 7 p.m., dumping between one and two inches of rain in less than an hour.
Before the rainfall came to an end, City crews were out armed with chainsaws and heavy equipment to clear the city's roadways of downed trees and tree limbs. As the skies cleared, a perfect, bright, full rainbow appeared over the city.
