Mural shows history of NPHS
Artist Greg Preslicka, a New Prague High School graduate, created a mural on the east wall of the Central Education Campus gym in New Prague. Over the course of eight days, starting December 4, he painted the images of the five different buildings that have housed New Prague High School, including two building that no longer stand. Preslicka, who now lives in Savage, has been doing more than 70 murals at schools in Minnesota and Wisconsin over the last eight years, but admits doing this one in his hometown was special. He is pictured with New Prague Area School Superintendent Tim Dittberner.
