Neisen ties for 10th at State Women's Amateur golf tournament

Before starting her sophomore year in high school, Steffi Neisen of New Prague had some serious business to attend to on the golf course.

Neisen, who placed seventh at last year's State Class AA golf tournament, qualified for the Minnesota Women's Amateur Tournament, which was played at Minnesota Valley Golf Club August 13 through 15.

Neisen didn't just play, she played well, making the final cut and finishing tied for 10th place overall against the top women golfers from around the state.

It was an intimidating experience
