New Prague group has plenty of vacation memories following tornado scare

Everyone goes on vacation hoping for memories. A group of about 20 New Prague area families had a vacation last week that they will never forget.

The group was staying at Jellystone Campground in Warrens, WI, Wednesday, June 23, when, without warning, they were hit by golf ball sized hail and high winds. Shortly after 7 p.m., an F1 tornado snapped off the tops of tall pine trees in the campground, destroying five or six camper trailers and popups owned by the New Prague Jellystone Group
