New Prague man faces drug charges
A rural New Prague man turned himself in to authorities Friday, Jan. 27, after a warrant was issued for his arrest on drug charges.
Cole Douglas Larson, 20, faces two charges-a second degree conspiracy to commit a controlled substance crime and a third degree controlled substance crime.
A complaint filed in Le Sueur County District Court alleges that an undercover officer purchased marijuana from Larson on two occasions in October and cocaine on one occasion in November. All three transactions took place at the Coborn's parking lot in New Prague.
After further investigation, police contacted Larson in early January and arranged to meet him at the Le Sueur County Law Enforcement Center. He did not show up for the meeting and did not contact the investigating officer, which resulted in a warrant for his arrest being issued on January 25.
