This is National Newspaper Week. From October 3-9, newspapers across the country are celebrating one of this nation's finest traditions… Freedom of the Press.

The theme for this year's observance of National Newspaper Week is Newspapers… The People's Product.

Most every community has a newspaper to call their own, whether it be located right in town or in a nearby town. The New Prague Times serves not only New Prague, but New Market, Lonsdale, Webster, Veseli, St. Patrick, Union Hill, Elko, St. Benedict and Heidelberg.
