Nick J. Krenik, 49
Nick J. Krenik, 49, of Montgomery, died Monday, April 4, 2005 at his home in Montgomery.
Nick, the son of Doris (Perkinson) Krenik, and the late Richard Krenik, was born September 13, 1955. He attended and graduated from Montgomery High School.
During his life, Nick farmed and worked at Cenex Harvest States grain elevator in Savage. A man who loved the outdoors, Nick was interested in ice fishing, deer hunting, sports and just being outdoors.
Surviving him are sons Scott (Jenny) Krenik of New Prague, Ben Krenik of Montgomery; daughter Nadine (Aaron) Streich of Arlington; mother Doris Krenik of Montgomery; grandchildren Alicia and Austin Streich; one sister, three brothers, and former wife Teresa Krenik of Faribault.
He was preceded in death by his father Richard Krenik.
Funeral services were held Thursday, April 7, 2005 at 4 p.m. at Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery with Deacon Leonard Shambour officiating.
Pallbearers were Tom Prochaska, Jeff Turek, Al Welch, Al Menke, Roland Ceplecha and Jim Houston.
Visitation was also held Thursday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. before the services at Schoenbauer Funeral Home.
Interment was held at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Montgomery.
