No. 1 Springfield ends hoops season

No. 1 rated Springfield, led by 2000+ point scorer Isaac Fink, defeated the WEM boys basketball team, 76-57 in the South Sub-Section semifinals Thursday at Lake Crystal. Fink scored 25 points. Bladyn Bartelt led the Bucs with 23 points. WEM finishes its season with a 13-15 overall record. They will only lose two players next season. The lone seniors are Ashton Edel and Austin Roemhildt.
