NPHS One-Act heading to state

For the first time since 1984 New Prague High School’s one-act play is going to State. Student actors won first place in the Section 2AA Finals with the comedic play “Sneak Thief” on Thursday, Jan. 31, at Chanhassen.

“All three judges ranked them first,” said New Prague director Ben Thietje.

The State Festival is Thursday, Feb. 7, and Friday, Feb. 8, at the O'Shaughnessy Auditorium on the campus of St. Catherine University in St. Paul. Section AA schools perform on Thursday, and Section A schools perform on Friday. NPHS will perform at 4 p.m. on February 7. There are tickets for a single session (two shows), or a daily pass.
