NPHS sports eligibility meeting is Monday
New Prague High School will hold its fall eligibility meeting Monday, Aug. 5, at the main gym at the high school. Students and parents will receive information on school and Minnesota State High School League regulations and will meet with their coaches.
Athletes are asked to register for their sports online at the Activities Department web page at www.np.k12.mn.us.
The following sports begin practice on Monday, Aug. 12.
—Boys and girls cross country (Coaches Shawn Brandt-girls and Nick Meyerboys). First meet is Friday, Aug. 30, at Eagan
— Football (Coach Jim Benick). First game is Thursday, Aug. 29, at home against Holmen, WI.
—Boys soccer (Coach Jon Hopke). First game is Thursday, Aug. 22, at Mankato East.
—Girls soccer (Coach Steve Kehrli) First game is Thursday, Aug. 22, at home against Mankato East.
—Girls Swimming & Diving (Coach Jennifer Ongie- Jindra). First meet is the Missota Relays on Thursday, Aug. 22, at Northfield
—Girls Tennis (Coach Kyle Zellner). First meet is Tuesday, Aug. 20, at the Mankato East Invitational.
—Volleyball (Coach Angie Andersen). First game is Friday, Aug. 23, at home against Hopkins.
—Cheerleading (Coach Terrye Wagner)
