NPMS wins Touchstone Energy Community Award

Minnesota Valley Electric Cooperative (MVEC) has selected the New Prague Middle School Student Council as the winner of the local 2007 Touchstone Energy Community Award. The council was awarded a $250 check, which will be used to help the group coordinate activities in the community.

The student council, which includes sixth through eighth graders, demonstrates a strong commitment to community MVEC highly values. Locally, the club is dedicated to year-round projects that benefit people and communities in the surrounding areas.
