Numbers tell the story on city building permits

Like many communities in the area, New Prague experienced a decrease in the number of permits issued for housing construction in 2007. However, the number of commerical, industrial and miscellaneous permits helped balance things out.

In New Prague, a total of 880 building permits were issued in 2007, an increase of 68 from 2006, thanks to the industrial and miscellaneous categories.
