Packaging up a Gift of Caring

Girl Scouts from the New Prague area were busy Saturday, Feb. 25, at the New Prague American Legion Clubroom preparing a Gift of Caring for New Prague area service personnel.

The Gift of Caring project was part of the Girl Scouts annual cookie sale. When the scouts were out selling they asked people if they wanted to donate a box to soldiers. Sixteen Girl Scout Troops from New Prague sold 494 packages that will go to service men and women from the New Prague area and those who have relatives and friends in the area.
