Panthers knock off Lady Bucs

The NRHEG girls basketball team took over sole possession of first place in the Gopher Conference after downing WEM 54-41 Jan. 5 in Waterville. The Lady Bucs have played two other games last week, downing Medford 44-39 Jan. 5 and losing to Tri City United 47-43 Jan. 9. WEM, 4-1 in the Gopher Conference and 6-5 overall, will host JWP Thursday, Jan. 12, travel to Le Sueur-Henderson Friday, Jan. 13, and play at Blue Earth Area Tuesday, Jan. 17.
