Pedestrian hit by semi

A pedestrian was struck by a semi tractor / trailer while attempting to cross Highway 13 south of Montgomery just after noon on Wednesday, May 24. According to the State Patrol incident report, a southbound 2007 International Tractor driven by Jeremy James Weber, 33, of Albert Lea struck pedestrian David James Leadstrom, 37, of Shakopee, who was attempting to cross the highway. Leadstrom was airlifted to St. Marys with life threatening injuries. Weber was not injured. The Montgomery Police and Ambulance assisted at the scene.
