Pedestrian treated after being hit by vehicle
The New Prague Ambulance Service transported a man to Queen of Peace Hospital in New Prague after he was hit by a vehicle Monday, Jan. 28.
According to the New Prague Police Department, the incident happened around 5:40 p.m. Zachary John Sirek, 17, Webster, was heading west on Main Street. He proceeded to make a left turn onto Second Avenue SW when he struck Peter Andrew Wentzlaff, 54, of Butterfield who was walking across the street.
Wentzlaff was transported to Queen of Peace Hospital where he was treated and released.
