Pint, Shimota compete at state
New Prague High School’s Caitlyn Pint, center, and Tina Shimota, competed at the Minnesota State High School State Class AA Gymnastics meet Saturday, Feb. 24, at the Maturi Sports Pavilion at the University of Minnesota.
Both Trojan athletes competed in the vault competition. Shimota, a sophomore, scored 9.3125 to place 30th of 48 competitors. Pint, a junior, placed 35th with a 9.225.
