Playoff opponents set for Buccaneers

Playoff pairings for the Buccaneer football and volleyball teams have been set. The WEM football team, 4-4 overall, received the No. 6 seed in Section 2AA. They will travel to NRHEG (6-2 overall), the No. 3 seed, Tuesday, Oct. 25 for the quarterfinal game at 7 p.m. The winner of this game would play either No. 2 seed Kenyon-Wanamingo (7-1) or Medford (2-6) Saturday, Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. at the high seed. The WEM volleyball team, 27-4 overall, received the No. 1 seed in the Section 2A, South Sub-Section. They will play their quarterfinal game Thursday, Oct. 27 at 7 p.m in Waterville against the winner of the JWP (4-16) vs. Madelia (5-21) game, which will be played Monday, Oct. 24.
